Music is meditation for me. You can directly connect with God because of music. I think today's generation should know about Hindustani music. my way of teching is very different. I start with elementary classes, where students came to know about the basics of hindustani classical.
Students will get to know about Swars, they will get to know about singing skill, notes, pitch. They will get to know about there voice range.
I will teach semi classical or light music also. Like gazals, Bhajan, Dadra, thumri. Etc
Music is something you can feel within. If you want to connect with God or true to yourself I recommend learn hindustani classical.
