I am an experienced IBDP/MYP teacher for Language A and TOK and have been the Teaching and Learning Coordinator for the last 4 years, and more recently the Assistant Head: Staff Development Manager. I am also the Regional DP Network Job-alike Coordinator. In my roles, I have played an integral part in the development of our entire academic programme, working closely with HoDs and individual subject teachers to bring ATLs, TOK and CAS concepts to the forefront of teaching and learning. Last year I chaired the Standard C review for our 5 year self-study and helped to co-write the Whole-School Language Policy, The Assessment and Feedback Policy, The Academic Honesty Policy, and helped guide the SEN/Inclusion policy for the school. I am a DP/MYP workshop leader for Language A, Inquiry, ATL and TOK, and am an MYP School Consultant, School Visit Team Member, and Application Reader, for both DP subjects and MYP Candidate schools. I am currently being mentored by my Deputy Head in matters pertaining to cover allocation and scheduling software, but have had experience with this on a smaller scale in my school in Bogota where HoDs were responsible for allocating teaching loads within the department and organizing cover for the same. In short, I am certain I have the extensive knowledge and demonstrated administrative skills required for the post you have advertised.
