I am a graded Doordarshan Artist in Kolkata. I have a Masters in Kathak from Rabindra Bharati University. Having started learning at the age of 6 under Sandip Banerjee, I have been trained under eminent Kathak artists such as Bela Arnab, Chetna Jalan, BacchanLal Mishra.I am currently training under Nrityashiromani Guru Bandana Sen.I have performed in Kolkata and abroad in cultural collaborations and Embassies such as Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore.I have also gained expertise in teaching Kathak as well as Rabindra Nritya, Folk Dance etc. Attended workshops of various Kathak artists. Worked as a Background dancer in Bengali films like Abbajan, Jangalpahari, Sapmochon. I have received Senior diploma from Prayag Samiti Allahabad.

I have a mentoring experience of more than 35 years and I basically take classes in my institute, Nataraj Dance Academy in Behala, South Kolkata. I have also opened my new centre in Ganguly Bagan, Jadavpur, the classes of which are going to start from July 2022. Beginner and advanced level of Kathak will taught Folk dances and Rabindra Nritya are also taught .Exam facilities are available under Surabharati Sangeet Parishad. My students have performed in cultural festivals across Kolkata. Stage performances will be given only to eligible students. Minimum age to take admission is 6 years.
