Hi children! And yes, Geography plays a major part in helping you understand History. After all, human activity (trade, innovation, industrialisation, development) depends entirely on their geographical location. If you are someone who is overwhelmed about the IB MYP Personal Project and are therefore seeking help, then relax! You are reading the profile description of a teacher who has been the Personal Project Coordinator as well as a project Guide in the last IB school she worked in. IGCSE and the AS Level Global Perspectives can get very challenging what with all the research, analysis, evaluation and reflection that needs to go into your Individual Essay, the Team Project and the Written Examination paper. You can now heave a sigh of relief! You will be given extensive guidance and practice in all the three components that will make you confident enough to submit superlative work.     I have been an educator for 30+ years. I have worked in several schools in Pune as well as in Bengaluru, where I have taught the following subjects:

    Geography - Grades 4 - 10 (SSC); Grades 6- 8 (IGCSE)
    Individuals and Societies (IB) - Grades 6- 10 (A combination of concepts related to History, Geography, Economics, and Civics)

    Cambridge Global Perspectives & Research - AS level (Grade 11)
    IGCSE Environmental Management - Grades 9 and 10

    For more than 2/3 of my career, I have worked in integrated schools where I had the opportunity to teach students with different learning needs.
    IGCSE Global Perspectives and Cambridge AS Level Global Perspectives are skill based subjects. Hence I have a great deal of experience in helping students acquire research skills, independent learnining skills, communication skills, collaboration skills and critical thinking skills. These skills can be used by students across subjects.

    I have now (beginning May 2022) taken a break from being a full-time teacher and I'm seeking opportunities to teach part-time.

Fee details

    ₹500–850/hour (US$5.95–10.11/hour)

    A fee of 500 INR is applicable to students from grades 4 to 6.
    A fee of INR 700 for students from Grade 7 to 10.
    A fee of INR 850 will be charged for guidance with projects and Global Perspectives Essays as well as the Personal Project for IB MYP
    Charges may vary if a student lives in another country, based on the time zone
