I have 6 years of experience in teaching piano performance.
I teach piano composition to selected students.

I have taught students from ages 6 to 50+.
Additionally, I have experience teaching children with special needs.
I help interested students prepare for Trinity College of Music grades. Some of my students have successfully achieved distinction in their Trinity and ABRSM exams from Grade Initial to Grade 8.

Music theory and music notation will be taught with a structured cirriculum but priority will be given to application and performance. Weekly assignments will be given which need to be completed before the next class.

My ongoing focus is to help students discover their own voice on the piano so they can express themselves creatively. This is a radically different approach from memorizing a few pieces and learning to play them mechanically. The foundation of this approach is for the student to build a relationship with sound rather than with notes on a paper.

I am also running a Youtube channel as a side project where I share piano covers of contemporary songs arranged in a classical style.
