Smita Sharma obtained bachelor’s degree in Sciences from Sophia Girls College, Ajmer, and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer. She is UGC-NET-JRF qualified in Management discipline.
Smita holds a doctoral degree from University of Rajasthan which was awarded to her in April 2017 for her original work undertaken in studying the hospitality industry detailed in her thesis titled Management of Green Hospitality with Special Reference to Five Star Hotels in Rajasthan. She completed her Post-Doctoral work from Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi while working on Assessment of Carbon Footprint of Land fill Sites in Smart City Jaipur.
She has over thirteen years of teaching and research experience and thirty-five research publications to her credit. Her teaching and research interests include Quantitative techniques,Descriptive and Predictive Analysis,Consumer Behavior, Brand Management, Research Methodology(SPSS, Multivariate Analysis), Environmental Management, and Sustainability.
An avid researcher in the field of marketing, product and brand management I have a flair for teaching and learning. The experience both in the field and classroom can help a curious learner to move ahead in his/her domain.
I have been an avid learner throughout and continue to add on value to the lives of my students.
