My name is Shruthi Shetty, I am a dedicated High School Chemistry Teacher with over 9 years of experience, including Head of Chemistry at an international UK curriculum school, where I taught IGCSE and A-level Chemistry (Edexcel/Cambridge/AQA). My extensive background equips me to effectively support students in mastering complex concepts and achieving academic success.
Throughout my career, I have taught a variety of curricula and exam board specifications, including Cambridge, Edexcel, and AQA. This diverse experience has equipped me with the skills to effectively explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. I have also tutored A-Level and IGCSE students alongside my full-time teaching role, allowing me to develop tailored approaches that meet individual learning needs.
Having recently moved to New Zealand from the UAE with my partner, I am eager to provide support in chemistry and have the flexibility to start immediately. I am fluent in English and pride myself on being easy to understand, which I believe is essential for effective tutoring.
