Slam alaikum, this is Abdul Munib,
Calligraphy is the specific form of art developed to write the Qur'an, being a Muslim Allah SWT revealed to Hazrat Muhammad PBUH "Read: In the name of Allah Who created, (1) Created man from a clot. (2) Read: And Allah is the Most Generous, (3) Who taught by the pen, (4) Taught man that which he knew not.(5)" (Bukhari 4953).
So, I see the pen (Qalam) has very important and basic role in the learning of human being.
I've been practicing calligraphy for 5 years,
I'm practicing Khat/script Nastaliq, Nasakh نستعلیق ، دیوانی ، رقعه كوفي الصحف.
I use Reed pen/ traditional bamboo stick as Qalam for traditional calligraphy, use Adobe Photoshop for Digital Calligraphy/typography and I can make you enough capable of learning calligraphy and performing in the future.
Calligraphy can make you a better human being and it has effective role to change the personality of a learner/practicing person.
I will teach how to make Qalam / Qalam crafting and preparing the paper for traditional calligraphy " مقهر ".
