I am an experienced educator who has taught at all levels of the education system. I have experience in both teaching and administration and have taught both online and face-to-face.

My style of teaching (particularly when teaching adults) utilizes self-directed learning and I believe in socratic questioning as a means of developing the critical thinking skills of my students. My success rate has been very high and my students have expressed great confidence in me largely because I take such great interest in them - not only as students but as persons. Many of my former students have maintained contact with me over the years and some have become colleagues.

My skills as an online teacher have been enhanced as a result of pursuing several graduate courses in distance education and educational technology. I take great pleasure in meeting the needs of my students and enjoy teaching online where I am able to give students more individualized attention than would be possible in a face-to-face classroom.
