I have a PhD in teaching Amharic Language. I have been teaching Amharic for the last 17 years. My dissertation was titled "The correlation between the students' language learning strategy, learning style, and reading motivation and Reading comprehension result." So I have learned that the more important thing in teaching language is identifying the students learning Strategies. The findings helped me to know how to correspond my teaching style and methodology with each learner's learning strategies and styles. So, I alternate my teaching methodology as per each students learning strategy rather than sticking to a single best teaching method. So, I try to identify my students' language learning strategies before selecting my teaching methodology. Furthermore, instead of lecturing my students, I try to help them learn by themselves. So, when the students make mistakes in language learning I consider it as a good opportunity. In addition, I prefer to teach the language in a funnier way.
