Hi, I am Varsha Rathod and I am an Indian staying in Stuttgart since 2016. I am a Yoga teacher and yoga practitioner myself. I got training from BKS Iyengar Institute, Pune India. I focus on training the right way of doing the yog-aasan (body posture). Doing the right way targets the right muscles and makes the healing deep and fast. Once the yog-aasan is learnt in the right way, one can gradually increasing the time, from few seconds to minutes. The yog-asanas only help a person if they are performed correctly. Otherwise they can harm even a healthy person. Yoga is taught according to the client's (children/ Adolescents or Adults) physical ailments (if any) or for the fitness of body and mind which leads to better quality of life. It also helps to reduce the daily stress and achieve relaxed state of mind. My teaching is focused on quality and not quality. The complete focus will be given to the overall quality of your body and mind. My specialisation is that I combine breathing and yog-asanas together. This helps the clients to make deeper connection with their body making them confident in gradual period of time. I am also a Psychologist by profession. I use yoga with my clients as relaxation method to foster their growth. So my profession and yoga practice help me provide unique services to my clients. I have learned Yoga at BKS Iyengar Institute in 2014 for one year. Since then I am practicing yoga everyday. Being a student one is only allowed to teach someone after practicing yoga for 5 years consistently. After 5 years I started teaching people on part time basis. I also follow BKS Iyengar guidance books for teaching the yog-asanas according to health issues. It is very important to learn the yog-asanas in right way. and that is the speciality of BKS Iyengar Yoga practices. We were closely looked and corrected with every yog-asana until we do it right. The yog-asanas only help a person if they are performed correctly. Otherwise they can harm even a healthy person. For example Sirshasan (Head Standing) can not been done with heavy breathing. One has to master other asanas in order to the difficult ones in order to perform them with ease.
