I am Rajitha Saju. A native of India, I have been teaching elementary grades in UAE for 17 years now. I was a lead teacher for primary grades and a department head for the primary section. I aim to build a strong foundation that will assist students in applying concepts to real-life situations. The lessons will be interactive, with students being challenged according to their capabilities, which in turn will keep them engaged and develop independent thinking skills.
I usually integrate the modern technology viz games, puzzles and online MCQs with traditional methodology of explaining the content and concept, so that students are motivated to learn in this platform. Moreover assessments form an integral part of my teaching, not only chapter tests but also daily assessments, and sub-topic review will be done regularly. If needed, homework will be provided in the form of an online quiz, which will help them to revise the content without much stress and providing them enough time to complete their school assignments.
Classes will be usually conducted during the weekdays, so that students can use weekends to enjoy or develop other skills.
I also conduct Math Enhancement classes on weekends and public holidays in which students' problem-solving skills, mental math, and spatial sense are enhanced. Vedic Math is also a key component.

    I started as an Asst. Teacher in the year 2004 until I complete my B.ed. Due to sheer dedication and persistent efforts I moved on to become a subject teacher teaching Math and Science for elementary grades in the year 2009 and then got promoted as lead teacher for Math in 2017, wherein the leadership qualities were recognized and I was promoted as HOD (primary section) in the year 2019
