I, Manali Trivedi, am a trained classical dancer (BA in kathak),a choreographer (including wedding choreography) and a Gujarati Language tutor .

Dancer Profile :-
I have mastered Bollywood dance, Folk dance, Zumba,semi classical, Garba etc over the years .I have been doing this over 12 years now. Currently I am associated with couple of famous institutes as a mentor .

Also, I have been doing stage shows around the country and abroad.

I am an approachable and committed Dancer, keen to share my
passion for dance with everyone. I am able to run a stimulating,
challenging and varied extra-curricular dance program across
any organization. I can create a classroom atmosphere where
visitors are welcome and peer observation is the norm.

On a personal level I am a fit and able individual. I adore and
worship dance. My objective in life is to serve Indian classical
dance and teach and perform Kathak for the rest of my life.

Teaching Method:-
1)First of all, I teach Kathak Movements using real life examples . For example, move your hands as if you are brushing a wall, or do the mudra as if you are holding a ball etc...

2)Whatever I teach in class, Recorded Session for that particular class will be given to student for the reference.

3)After teaching a particular thing in kathak, I will try to put them on a classical / Bollywood song and teach the choreography accordingly for the practical implementation.

3)I focus more on story telling and expressions and will teach basics of music first before teaching any Taal in kathak . Because what I believe is to understand the roots of music first.
