I coach my students on the topics that I teach I make sure to give examples first and thoroughly feed them with sample exercise that I do first before giving it to them, I teach the easy and hard part but also leaving some of the difficult questions for them to think of. I facilitate them by letting them accomplish the exercises by themselves, most of the exercises that I give are what we discussed but I add tricks and makes the question look complex, then I let them answer it by themselves. If the question gets too hard on them I give them some hints that would make them have progress, and I usually give small quizzes after lectures that makes them remember the concepts from the lectures, and I make the environment comfortable for them. I ensure that before I start the lecture I assess first their familiarity on the topic that I will discuss so I can adjust for their preferences. I sometimes asks in the middle of the lecture if they understand the topic or not or if they have some questions.
