My name is Nandan Kashyap. I am a proficient Carnatic Classical Mridangist, willing to teach students who are excited to learn. I have been practicing Mridangam from past 14 years. I am also a regular performer in various concerts in and accross the state.
Also I have been awarded 'Best Mridangam Accompaniment' from a music organisation.
My teaching style comprises of various fingering techniques, which helps the student to practice and excel in the art. Initially, my concentration will be on strengthening basics, in order to ensure good foundation for students. I will also provide some exercises which are inherited from my gurus and also my own for the betterment of the fingerings. I also concentrate on developing there own creativity (Manodharma), which helps the student to be a noted artist in the art. As Mridangam is mainly an accompanying instrument, as stages goes I make sure that the student is able to accompany on his own for the concert.
I also concentrate on developing creativity, which will help them to form their own Groves, Teermanams, Korvais/Muktayams, Koraipus ect...
Hence, I can ensure a very happy and friendly music learning process to all the students, who are willing to learn Mridangam and Konnakkol.
