I got interested to join Teacheron because I can see an opportunity for career advancement and professional development as an educator in line with the changing educational environment, especially during this pandemic. Even in the work from home setup, I can share my knowledge, skills, and experience in developing high-quality lessons and activities to cater to students’ needs.
I have been teaching elementary students in different subjects. Currently, I am teaching Reading and Math subjects to Grade 2 students. As my teaching style, I usually encourage my students to be actively involved in discussions. I enhance the learning process of the students by making studies more fun. I help students learn to provide feedback and be more expressive. I also promote engagement during class. These things ensure improvement in the academic performance of my students.
I help my students to be independent learners. I made them do their assignments or home works and checked on them after doing so. I teach them how to do it and then guide them in doing the tasks properly for them to be able to learn and master the skill.
