Dr Iqra Iftikhar
Teaching is a profession of dignity, sencerity, devotion and hard work.
During my teaching sessions, I teach students the basics of each and everything. From the coursework to practical examples, I always try to build a strong relationship with my students. This is the reason, my students always come back to me with excellent results.
My teaching skills include:
1) Starting from scratch
2) Explaining how to understand the problem
3) Work out the solution
4) Look at the practical perspective
5) Matching with real world problems
6) Giving students some problems to solve
7) Looking at the performance of the student
Labs and practical work is always priority for me because gaining knowledge by working on practicals is everlasting. I use simulations to help my students to understand the problem and applying it to different scenarios. This is also one of the reasons, my students always get A+ marks. My practical teaching approach helps students to improve their performance gradually. Those students who were average students become above average and those who are above average gets A grades.
Assignments are part of the course work. I always try my best to make sure students do their tasks themselves but if they could not, I help them to do them. This helps them to get good grades in exams.
