My name is S. Pawan Kumar. I am an IBDP trained educator(former research associate) with postgraduate in zoology specialized in wildlife conservation and ecology. I am currently teaching CAMBRIDGE curriculum (IGCSE/AS/A levels). I have great deal of experience with wildlife research. I also share immense interest in molecular biology,bio chemistry and cytogenetics. Along with academics, I always had equal and great interest in teaching, which I have been practicing for several years. My passion in life is to become a skillful educator. I tend to bring out new and better ways to communicate with students to induce thematic learning and sharpen their understanding of the topics of interest. I always tend to:
• Clear objectives-based approach to teaching, learning and assessments, focusing on curriculum framework and its standards and practices of Communication, Critical thinking, Collaboration, International mindedness and Creativity.
• Eliciting research aptitude among learners to arouse/strengthen critical thinking to question the overarching Nature of Science.
• Thematic learning over the entire academic year which serves to establish IB learner profile, Inter-disciplinary links across group 4 subject area and grade levels, making cross-curricular learning relevant for the students.
• Promote stress free learning by bridging learners to life skills.
