I enjoy tutoring people on various technical subjects, especially CAD Design Software.
Have experience using different CAD platforms such as Inventor, Solid Works, Rhino 3D and 3D Scanning software.
Have used 3D Design CAD in a wide range of Industry sectors such as Automotive, Marine, Aviation, 3D Printing, Metal Casting, Composites, CNC, 3D Scanning, Reverse Engineering and 3D Printing.

Therefore I have a good understanding of various manufacturing processes and how that affects the Design process.
I enjoy keeping up to date with the latest technology advances, and this enthusiasm carries over into my delivery.
I am patient and able to adapt my pace and style to suit the individual needs of the student.

I have a good command of the English language and can explain difficult subjects by breaking them down into smaller, easier to understand sections. Being enthusiastic, patient, and using questions along with demonstrating and then challenging the student to accomplish smaller tasks, building up to more complex ones. Giving insight into how the manufacturing process affects the design intent helps the student to understand the importance of "ease of manufacture" . This directly affects the cost to manufacture, which the student must have a good grasp of in order to become a good designer.

Helping the student understand all these factors is very rewarding for me.
Having both Entrepreneurial and Enterprise work experience, I am able to convey different design approaches, based on whether the product or design is for prototype or full scale production.
I enjoy both the design process, as well as conveying this skill to others.
