I’ve been playing guitar for almost 10 years now, I’ve taught more than 200 students till now. I start with the basics and fundamentals first, the root of musical education is needed to be strengthened. I make sure my students are aware of all the different techniques ( alternate picking, legato, sweep picking etc), also the understanding of music theory and harmony which is very important. I teach improvisation and composition which is a very important part of music and guitar playing. And I don’t believe in shortcuts. The way to do is practice and hard work.
