Namaste, I am Neelima Ahirwal, I am a dance teacher and practitioner of Bharatanatyam Dance. I started learning the dance form at a very young age and it's been 16 years now. I received my initial training under different gurus and presented my first formal solo presentation ‘Arangetram’ in 2015.
I did my Graduation with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and received Distinction with 2 Gold Medals. Pursued Masters in Performing Arts from the Same University with distinction.
In 2016, I started the Navya School of Dance in India with the aim of bringing awareness about Classical dance and trying to impart the knowledge that I have received from my gurus to the next generation. I have performed and won at many of the National and International competitions. I am based in Wembley and currently am conducting classes in collaboration with Brent Indian Association at their center.     I taught Bharatanatyam Dance to the school children and tried to impart the knowledge of our rich cultural heritage of India to the younger generation.
