My name is Suseela, widely known as Teacher Sue. I have taught English for more than 25 years for various levels including IELTS and TOEFL classes. Previously I was attached to academies, schools and universities. Now, I am kind of retired from a fulltime position and currently focussing on being a part-time online teacher. Teachers are unable to retire fully...haha......I custom-make classes to what students need. Students become comfortable with me quickly so lessons become easier to handle together. I am friendly but I make sure work is done. I will assess the pupil I am engaged with first before deciding the best methods and styles. However, basically I have preferred student-centred lesson plans. What makes me a great teacher? Well....I think over the years, you just tend to build your experience and expertise by chance, thus, just by talking to the students, you already know what you need to know about them:) Students have to just reach out to me....let me know what you need and we can work it out together! Action speaks louder than words!
