Birhanemeskel TilayeBachelor of Education in English, Amharic native

Hello! My name is Birhanemeskel, or you can just call me Brhan. I have been a teacher for four years at various private schools in Addis Ababa after my graduation in 2005. I always try to understand the areas where students need to improve in order to help them the best way possible. A good command of English language and my work experience in other disciplines like tour guide and salesperson, I believe, makes me a good candidate for this role since students can benefit from all this.
As a teacher I use student-centered approach where I only guide and facilitate as the students practise their English, mostly in speaking and writing because, at the end of the day it is the students that need to have communication skills. And it is always easier and more fun from the students' point of view to be able to express themselves during classroom lessons as well as for tutorial classes.
I always give my best to my students, listen to them, and try to understand the context before rushing to correct their mistakes.
