Hello there! I am Teacher Matt. I am an online ESL teacher to Chinese students for almost 3 years, and prior to that, I was an ESL teacher in Cambodia for almost 2 years. I taught kids, teenagers, and adult students alike. Teaching students from different places might seem difficult, but with the motivation of assisting students to reach their dreams and believing in their great potential, it’s possible! What’s more, witnessing them improve and listening to their appreciation is like an icing on the cake. So for you, don’t give up on your goal to learn or improve your English skills. You can do it also! Just be patient, be consistent and incorporate it in your daily life. Soon, it will be as natural as breathing.

Aside from being a teacher, I am also a self-employed entrepreneur. As for my hobbies, I like reading books, sewing, cross stitching, crocheting, and doing various crafts. I also love travelling. I’ve been to Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Canada. I want to go to your country, too, so that I can experience your culture, in order for me to know you more, understand you and teach you better.
