I am Sharisse Ong, currently living in Manila, Philippines. When I teach, I use powerpoints that I prepared. I am currently giving private tutorial lessons teaching the Chinese subject. Most of the time, I require them to read the text, but there are times when they are lazy to read the text. If that happens, I would tell them to draw things related to the topic and the text first, then after that, I will let them read again. For me, teaching is not only about sharing knowledge or guiding the students in their academics, but also obtaining new things and knowledge from them. And I believe that every student has his/her way of learning things.
