I hold three tertiary qualifications which are Bachelor of Science Psychology Honours Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Master of Science Counselling Psychology Degree. I have taught in a primary school setting and secondary school (teaching practice). Apart from that, I worked as an Educational Psychologist at provincial level in the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education in Zimbabwe. In my role as Educational Psychologist, I was involved in the administration of psychometric tests, offering counselling, facilitations at workshops, conducting group and individual psychoassessments on students for school placements and referral to line ministries such as social welfare, ministry of health and child care for further management.
Furthermore, I have worked as a student psychologist at Zimbabwe's National Referral Centre for Psychiatric Disorders in the department of psychology.
I prefer the student centred approach in lesson delivery as it helps students to discover information and enables them to master the concepts. The use of illustrations such as diagrams and images on a certain topic also helps to facilitate mastery of the taught concepts. Therefore, I find illustrations to be useful and informative in learning.

I have done several virtual presentations on Disability Based Violence, Suicide prevention in educational institutions, signs of stress among primary school children. I am also involved with offering Remedial Sessions Home Visits for Neuro-diverse students for example learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD and intellectual disabilities.

    I was transferred and regarded to the post of Educational Psychologist provincial office Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Matabeleland North Province, Zimbabwe in December 2015. some of my duties included but were not limited to psychological testing, offering guidance and counselling, crisis intervention services, psychometric assessments and facilitating at workshops among others.
