I obtained my degrees (BS, MEng, PhD) in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York with specialization in communication. All of my education and teaching has been in English. I have more than 40 years teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the university level.

Given my background, I can teach English as a foreign language and can also teach general and technical English. English has been my principal language of studies and communication and I continue to read books on English grammar and writing. In addition, I have read a large number of novels in English by authors including Robert Ludlum, Tom Clancy, David Baldacci, Vince Flynn, John Grisham, Elizabeth George, Iles, and many others.
