I am Leyana K Shaji, research scholar at VIT Vellore. Since 2014, I take chemistry tuition for students of different grades ranging from 11th standard to MSc students (Organic Chemistry)
My experience in different curriculums helps me greatly in explaining the concepts better and that sets my teaching style unique.

I take classes majorly for IB DP(currently 7 students), AP Chemistry, Cambridge, Ontario curriculum, AQA, Engineering chemistry, MSc chemistry and currently also teaching MCAT to a graduate student(Ontario University, Canada).

I encourage my students to have friendly discussions and real-life examples of the topic. I focus on conceptual way of exploring the subject which always helps the students in better understanding of Chemistry. A lot of practice questions will also be worked to ensure comprehensive understanding of the concept. There would be practice tests and revision classes will be provided on request. I also have excellent tutors associating with me for physics and Maths

great chemistry AS/AL tutor!

I’m a CIE AS/A LEVEL student and I just finished my a level chemistry boards with the assistance of ma’am.
I had multiple tutors before this but none of them were as good and helpful as ma’am.

I found ma’am on here only one month before my as/a level boards but she managed to teach me all the content within that short period of time. She also ensured that I got plenty of past paper practice in that time span.

She made sure all my doubts were cleared and was very patient throughout this journey. Thanks to her lively and productive lessons I was able to get a grasp of the subject very well.

I strongly suggest you choose ma’am as your chemistry tutor!

This was my first year of doing chemistry, and I was struggling at first, this was due to my school teacher not being present. Luckily my family referred Miss. Leyana, I was able to understand all grade 11 units in just a couple of classes.

The way she teaches you is better than most online tutors, she helps you understand by visually writing down notes or questions on a jamboard, this has been a lifesaver and also the best way to really grasp the knowledge of anything you’re trying to learn.

I could not thank her enough for teaching me something new and boosting my marks up.
