Post grad (Msc in Speech and Language Pathology) from AIISH, Mysore, India. I have an experience of over 10 years in assessment and treatment of Speech, Language, Voice and Swallowing disorders in both children and adults.
I believe we all have potential & we just need different routes to achieve it and so a tailor made plan for every individual is my approach which pays emphasis on THEIR immediate needs. I also believe in regular re-assessments to see if the plan and goals are viable. I believe in the power of 4 'Ps' for any kind of therapy to be successful - Partnership (between the therapist and the patient), Passion, Patience and Perseverance.
I have also tutored children and helped them with their academic subjects. I especially look forward to working with children with Learning disabilities and slow learners and I have surprised myself by some of the methods my students have taught me. I believe that learning always needs to be interactive and fun and it has to not just prepare children for school, but for life.
