Dear Students,

I'm a professional chess coach and a player who has more than 17 years of coaching experience from Sri Lanka. I'm fluent in English and hold the title "FIDE Instructor " since 2022. My current FIDE Rating is 1927 and my peak rating was 1987.

Throughout my coaching career I've produced titled players and has guided my students to win Asian and World medals.

I believe that chess is such a wonderful game that we all can connect, enjoy and have loads and loads of fun with while aiming high.

I'm more of a friend than a teacher who would guide my students rather than pressurize. What's special about me is that I'm a very calm, cool and gentle person who has a great sense of humor and who is willing to give my best to my students.

I was the very first person to organize an online Inter Schools Event during the pandemic in Sri Lanka and it concluded recently while gaining the attention of everyone and my students getting top honors.

So I warmly welcome you all to join with me and travel the path of success in Chess as well as in Life!!
