Looking for a tutor who is easy to understand?

My name is Thomas, and I am a Geospatial Scientist and Software Developer in Atlanta, GA. My goal is to help students and professionals understand challenging topics and gain confidence in their skills by providing personalized support.

Many of my students are looking for help with GIS, Python, and SQL. However, these topics can often apply to other areas, so I often help with other skills like Web Development, Scrum, Data Science, and much more!

- GIS -
GIS has been slowly growing since the 90's and is now becoming an extension of the broader computer and IT fields. This highlights the need for students to adapt to the never-ending changes in technology, but to also learn fundamentals that are required for a deeper understanding of the more complex topics.

- Python -
Python allows users to create complex programs and automation without all of the hassle other languages make you go through. Its uses are extremely broad, used in automation and data collection/manipulation, Networking, and even Cybersecurity. While it is not the ideal language for every problem, you'll find that you can do just about everything with this language.

Learning is tough, and working with a tutor isn't always what its cracked up to be. It doesn't help that many professionals have a hard time adjusting the language they use to fit their audience and often struggle in relating concepts to easily digestible examples. Your time with me is aimed at being fun and understandable. I will always try and relate a concept to something that you find interesting because that is how most of us learn! Most importantly, I will teach you how to learn and think for yourself, allowing you to make your own progress when tackling a new problem. Tutoring isn't about following the steps in some instruction guide; Its about getting the help you need that will propel your career and progress.

My fees vary since everyone comes with different problems. I offer a free, 30-minute consultation to check if I am a good fit for both you and the topic you need help with! I hope to work with you soon!

    My fee varies mainly on content, but time is also taken into consideration as I am a full-time employee working on my own projects!
    I do not tutor as my primary means of income, and love to help people learn so I try to charge the minimum rates as much as possible.
