Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my interest in the
above mentioned job position.
I have over 12 years of teaching experience in Biology and Chemistry subjects.

I am a holder of a bachelor's degree in education (Science) from Kenyatta University (KU) and have a great deal of experience in IGCSE, IBDP, A level and AP.
I have also prepared candidates in both subjects and across the curriculum. I have also given individual attention to students and small groups of students in a very friendly, relaxed, and interactive way to the learners' expectations depending on their needs and different abilities.

I am currently teaching at SABIS International School, Runda, Kenya.
I have an experience of over 12 years teaching Science, Biology and Chemistry from Grade 4 to 12, also IB 1 to IB 2, As, A Levels and AP in both Biology and Chemistry.
I have done so across three different sets of schools, government, independent and International.
This has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills on how to relate with learners from different walks of life, culture and academic ability.

I believe that I meet the requirements since in my teaching philosophy, I believe in catering for different learner ability from the ones that have exceeding ability, meeting ability and also approaching ability. Every child is capable in their own ways.

My recent achievements are among them, ensuring that learners who are approaching ability enjoy learning, both academically and in co-curricular activities, good communication skills to my students, seniors and parents; making learning fun and being very energetic always, being creative in my teaching and thinking outside the box by applying modern teaching methodologies such as incorporating ICT, hybrid teaching and collaboration.
