I am a teacher who always treat my students as my own children. Learning starts from good understanding Thus, i always ask my students if they understand what I am saying as I go through the discussion. This is to make them understand better what I am talking about. I am using the inductive type of teaching as I want my students learn by experience and not by just reading. If there is someone who can rate your effectiveness as teacher, it Is the students. If your students understand your lesson/topic very clearly, then, you can say that you delivered the lesson properly and regardless where the students may go, he/she will always remember the lesson. On the other hand, teacher's with poor teaching method will lead to students poor learning experience, ineffective communication and insufficient knowledge.

As I always believe, a great teacher is the one who allows her/his students talk during discussion. Make them a part of the learning experience. This is to help them build their self confidence in the process which is just one of the many traits they have to learn for their personality development in the future. As the lesson end, it is not just the knowledge you imparted to them but also the impression of being a grown-up and responsible student.
