Hi! This is Rathna from Coimbatore. Teaching science is my passion. Most of my leisure time is spent on surfing biology related topics and Sir David Attenborogh's videos.
My Teaching style is different I always start questioning and make the students answer. I will try to get answers from students previous experiences. So that I can keep them engaged. I will pay attention to the complex scientific terms and will explain it to the students in a simple manner. I use mind maps, diagrams, flow chart, tables etc. and show subject related videos so that students understand the concept to the fullest.
I also assign worksheets and make the students do any creative stuff relevant to the topic taught. So they won't forget what they learnt. Through the worksheets and assignments I will understand the students strengths and weaknesses. If needed I will do remedial teaching for the topics needed.
I always believe students are more creative than the teachers and teaching and learning is something mutually benefitted. I will help the students to focus on their goals. All my teaching methods definitely will make students get better grades and there is no doubt about it.
In my previous teaching experience Parents are very much satisfied with my teaching and got appreciations from coteachers, students and parents too.
