No reviews yet
I’m am Cindy Salenga Datu a 22 years old saxophonist who is currently studying Bachelor in Music major in saxophone performance at the University of the Philippines College of Music. I’m from the Philippines and currently living in Quezon City. I’m a music student under the tutelage of renowned saxophonist, Mr. Michael Mark Guevarra. I have finished my Associate in Arts degree this year and currently studying for my bachelor’s degree. I started playing the saxophone around the year for 2014. My genres in playing are pop, jazz, ballad, R&B, funk, and swing music. I usually perform in events like wedding, birthday, company events, malls, hotels, and many more. I’m a solo performer and also play with large groups. In addition I am also a private saxophone teacher who teaches music theory and playing technique. I am currently teaching saxophone playing and music theory through online class. The scope of my lesson talks about etudes, warm ups, methods and classical pieces. I also teach my students music theory so that they will understand how music works. Before my lesson, I will ask my student if how was his/her day, or give some motivation to practice. We all know that mental health is one of the greatest challenge that we faces in this pandemic.
