I am a pre-kindergarten teacher with six years of hands- on, classroom experience. I have taught and managed classes of up to 30 students (with assistant and teachers support) I’ve been recognized for my capacity for helping young learners develop healthy socialization and behavioral patterns, as well as instilling confidence and a sense of independence. I possess strong communication and collaboration capacities with parents and families in regard to student development. I believe in student centered learning method which broadly encompasses methods of teaching that shift the focus on instruction from the teacher to the student. Individualized learning helps children become more independent and they learn to direct their fascinations and ask questions and work on their own as well as a group. Some of the teaching styles that I will include is tactile learning, kinesthetic learning, auditory and visual learning. I will try to make learning fun and comfortable and also encourage and improve skills in slow learners to give their best through teaching methods and different effective strategies
