Boniface Echefu is a Doctorate (PhD) fellow at the Adelson school of medicine. I hone the Knack to communicate complex anatomical concept in simple terms.
As a lover of anatomy, my ultimate goal is to teach anatomy at every given opportunity. My teaching style is a combination schematic diagram to give my students mental picture of structures as well as demonstrating movements, locations via the use of self-body, description. I advise students to do same using their own body while learning understanding that anatomy is a descriptive course. Part of my methodology involves asking students to study ahead of the class in such way we can focus on the needful.
The single approach of treating students based on their individual needs have actually helped have an edge over my colleagues when it comes to transferring knowledge of anatomy. I sure understand human dynamics and encourage students to understand the basic principle of anatomical studies to remove the burden of memorizing complex terminologies and concepts.
