A Carnatic Musician who is trained by Madurai Mani Iyer school under Vidwan Thiruvenkadu Shri S Jayaraman and later at Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar school under Vidwan Kandadevi Shri Narayanan at Chennai 40 years ago and has had extensive Local and Overseas concerts with Veenai vidwan Shri R Ramakrishnan of famous Karaikudi Shri Sambasive Iyer school of Veena who is my brother and trained by him as well in Vocal Music

Being a keen practitioner, music became my favorite subject and my wife Smt Shanthi Ashokkumar a musician herself, teaching online for over 12 years with a Post graduation in Carnatic Music - adds to my skills by sharing a well designed methodology of teaching Carnatic vocal Music for aspiring students all over Globe
