I have had training from the kathak exponent Guru Anukriti Vishwakarma ji disciple of pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj and Guru Malti Shyam ji disciple of Birju maharaj . Kathak is the traditional artform of narrating stories through Nrit (dance) . The routes of this classical dance form came from ancient time ( the time period of lord Krishna himself ) . Don’t include only technical content but also bhaw (feeling )& Raas (expression ) ( sole of dance )
I would like to teach kathak in its original form .
Carry essences is the most important and beautiful thing about this dance form . The communication regarding particular peace ( what to feel and how to explain ) is the key
I like my classes to be fun filled so kathak doesn’t sound boring . Question and answer section is also follow as required during teaching ( interactive sections) .
