Teaching English more as a language than just a subject is my main objective. Also, to create an interest to learn this language is another area of my focus. I will serve as an inspiration to anyone who partners with me to learn English and I can confidently claim that students will not only begin to love the language but also be able to speak and write as well as I do. I can relate to students of all age ranges appropriately.
Typically the following is what I do while I am with students:
i) I begin the class with a quote that has direct relevance to the topic that would be covered.
ii) I get into a casual conversation with the class about any issue that is relevant at that point in time.
iii) I get to make the students speak, that is, voice out their opinion on the matter. By doing this I have found the students charged with eagerness to listen further.
iv) I share many anecdotes and real-life incidents that have relevance to the topic that I would be teaching them.
v) With the online mode of teaching, I share videos that have made a deep impact on students’ minds.
vi) After every logical end in a lesson or poem, I pause to check the understanding levels. I allow the students to ask questions.
vii) I start a new day by reviewing the work done the previous day.
viii) Since I teach a language, I ensure that I make the students read out loud by which I teach them expression and the right pronunciation of words.
ix) I don’t hesitate to teach the basics of grammar if I know that they need a revision.
x) I ensure that students just don’t learn the syllabus but leave my class with good communication skills and a confidence to speak up in public.

    My fee is based on the level of intervention that I have to make depending on the student's requirement.
