Hello,

I've done my Bachelor's in Engineering( CPI 8.56/10) from IIT Kharagpur and Master's in Pure Mathematics (8.65/10) from IIT Gandhinagar. Post that, I did a research stint at IIT Bombay towards an M.Phil. in Mathematics. I'm incredibly passionate about Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Economics, and Computer Science and teach a range of topics in these areas at an advanced level.

My approach is rooted in providing a wholesome learning experience through problem-solving sessions. Hence, assignments constitute a significant part of the learning process. I aim to encourage questions because it is our own curiosity which motivates us to gain a deeper understanding of a topic more than anything else.

Specifically addressing JEE students, as I have successfully cleared the IIT-JEE exam back in my days, I believe I can guide you well. In addition, I've cracked multiple All-India level examinations like AIEEE and CSIR-JRF.

To paraphrase Bill Thurston, the satisfaction in science lies in learning from others and sharing with others. Teaching serves as a great outlet for this purpose and I find it extremely rewarding and enjoyable.

An amazing teacher for JEE Advanced Mathematics.

I had the opportunity to learn JEE Advanced Mathematics from Ashish Sir, and I can say with complete confidence that he is truly a great teacher. I studied the topics of Functions, Inverse Trigonometric Functions, Sequences and Series, Permutations and Combinations and Probability. During the course, we tackled questions from the Black Book by Vikas Gupta.These questions required deep thinking and exploring of new ideas, truly needing a good teacher like Ashish sir to help us understand them. During the class, we could freely discuss our doubts and he patiently explained from basics how we arrived at the solution,making sure that we understood the discussion. We were encouraged to come up with our own logic and ideas to solve problems, and he helped us in proceeding with those ideas. He also explained to us from fundamentals the inconsistencies in our logic if any when we came up with our own ideas. For instance, in the chapter Permutations and Combinations, we explored each question with various approaches, learning why some methods worked while others didn’t. Ashish sir truly has a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and he instills confidence in us that most questions can indeed be solved with just the basic principles and some logical thinking. After the course, I was confidently able to apply my understanding and solve challenging problems from these topics. His classes felt like a one-on-one discussion about math rather than a traditional lecture. I really enjoyed studying math with Sir and highly recommend Ashish Sir to any student looking to excel in mathematics.

Excellent Math Tutor

Great teacher who difficult mathematical tasks simple

Ashish Sir is a very effective teacher and helps his students achieve the desired results by carefully listening to their problems/issues and working on their weaknesses. He has taught me sets, logic, and proofs. He adopts a very engaging and collaborative approach to teaching thereby making even very complex topics easy to comprehend. He has excellent communication skills which make it easier for his students. Amongst all the mathematics teachers I have encountered in school, engineering prep, and engineering college - he is the most skilled and inspiring.
