With the due blessings and permission of my guru Smt. Madhumita Roy, Vidushi Shila Mehta and Shri Debojit Banerjee, I have embarked upon this wonderful journey of gaining through sharing knowledge and information- the world of teaching. Already associated with the field of dance for 16 years and specialising in kathak for about 12 years, I wish to spread this beautiful, strong and delicate form of Indian classical dance and its authenticity with the future and upcoming generations. Keeping up with the time, I believe online classes help us to travel while sitting at home and thus I will be providing online classes. Focussing on the aspects of fitness, theory and practical, the class structure is very carefully and dedicatedly constructed. Through these classes, students not only learn contemporary choreographies but authentic kathak at the beginners’ level and then moving on to the higher levels. Inviting all, irrespective of age, to join me in this journey of spreading this world of joy! Hope to see you very soon!!
