Hello...This is Surmayee Wankar from Goa,India. I started my musical journey when I was 3..My father Mr.Ranjan Paturkar was a music professor and He is my first guru in Music..I started learning from him..I have been a contestant in Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa little champs (Marathi) and Indian Idol and then I participated in 'Gaurav Maharashtracha' on Etv Marathi and got selected in top 12 when I was 10 years old...Later on I went Pune and completed my bachelor's degree and master's degree with standing first in the entire University and won gold medal in Music Subject..I am fortunate that I met legendary singers like Sadhana Sargam,Sonu Nigam,Shreya Ghoshal,Kaushiki Chakraborty,Pt.Ulhas ji Kashalkar,etc and took their guidance and blessings..Now I am a professional singer and a teacher..I will definitely try to give my students all that I have..I love to meet aspiring students and love to teach them..One can learn music for the carrer or just for the hobby or just for happiness..I always think that it is my sincere duty to teach according to their interest and potential..I like to teach with patience,kindness,determination and love..I feel grateful that my students feel happy whenever I teach them and all of them are satisfied with my tutoring..I focus on the significance of Indian Music like how it works in our daily routine,what kind of happiness and peace one can feel from music,hardcore theoretical knowledge with practical especially for professionals,how it should be shown to the society and how it should be presented..I would like to teach all the students out there who are willing to learn Indian Music..
