I have been a student (obviously huh?), who has had teachers and private tutors who ramble without paying attention to how I absorb what they are teaching. I have learned to assess my students' strengths and weaknesses during our lessons so I can fine tune my lessons for them as individuals (capitalise on strengths but also greatly work on weaknesses) just as I wished tutors would have done during my time.
I have been tutoring for a relatively short time (two years) but have had really impressive results from last year's candidates!
