I'm award winning professional in construction industry and alumnus of University of Nairobi,Kenya ranked second best student in Bachelor of Quantity Surveying academic year 2019/2020. I have synthesised Construction Measurements, Estimation, Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying concepts in simple terms into a personal book called Mastery of Measurements Volume 2. I both teach and help students with their assignments in the aforementioned subjects. I'm acquainted with the following; Quantity Take-Offs (QTO) including imperial units on the traditional dimension papers, RS Means for Estimation, filling of the Recap sheets, SMM2, SMM, NRM2 etc. I have handled assignments from Washington University, Malaysia, Hungary, Oman and Australia. I am proud to mention that the Washington assignment was completed well with both scores above 70% (verifiable). I am time conscious and readily available to teach and attend to the assignments promptly. The book I rely on for teaching has been scanned into soft copy and easily accessed by my students whenever needed. I teach via google meet, make the session as interactive by sharing both drawings and actually working on a split-screen word dimension paper document. Students ask questions before I give them challenges about what I have taught, gives them a few minutes to solve them to gauge their level of understanding. In Measurements, I elaborate fully on the principles of measurement say concrete works in columns measured in cubic meters, thereafter I show the student using the customized drawings how to obtain the dimensions and get the quantities and the take-offs and insert them into the dimension paper. I am an orator, fluent and an audible speaker with proper mastery of the English language making it seamless for us to communicate globally.
