Am a Kenyan tutor who has been teaching Kiswahili close to two decades now. Am a graduate teacher and also has a postgraduate degree in Kiswahili. In my undergraduate degree I specialized in Kiswahili and Religious studies and Kiswahili alone in my postgraduate.
I have a wide teaching experience ranging from primary schools to university. For six years now I have been teaching Kiswahili at university level. Am conversant with both online and physical methods of teaching and learning. My postgraduate research majorly focused on methods of teaching a Second Language and therefore am able to apply the right teaching methods depending on the level of language proficiency of my learners.
I have written a number of Kiswahili stories for use in both primary school level and secondary school level. I went through a training on the requirements of competence based curriculum (CBC) and the expected learning outcomes expected from learners of various levels. The training widely focused on Kiswahili and therefore I am aware of the needs of a learner who is a beginner, intermediate and advance.
I am result oriented and committed to my work and will do everything possible to deliver to the expectations of my learners.
