Dance is my passion and something that I cherish very deeply. My overall experience in dance spans almost 2 decades. Started my journey with a professional dance group and was blessed to have mentors like Shiamak Davar, Andrea Sylvia, Sovit & Satyaki and many other international Artists.
I specialize in Zumba as a dance fitness form and have been associated with it for over 6 years. I am licensed to teach all age groups. I also hold a license to teach Zumba Gold which is a specialized Zumba fitness technique for anyone who is over 50 years of age or has any health issues.
I am also an experienced Salsa and Bachata dancer and have worked with the Mambo City India professional team. I have participated in many international Salsa congresses.
My dance technique is simple. I ensure that I break down all the elements in a manner that can be easily understood and implemented by my students and participants. I always try to meet my students at their level and then together, I work with them to bring out their best.
I use online platforms like Google Meet and Zoom to take classes and all the videos and other teaching assets are shared with my students post each session.
I am associated with the Ashok Hall group of schools as a western dance teacher for the last 5 years. Along with that, I also work with various dance studios in Kolkata.
I have choreographed many events both for schools and corporates.
I look forward to working with you all, learning while I teach, and enjoying the time we will be spending together.
