Before I became a full-time professional writer, I conducted several types of research in my field of study. I helped several masters’ students to collect and analyze data; this gave me early exposure to what research entails. After I graduated I worked in a public research institution as a researcher and tutor for one year, it improved my research and tutoring experience. As a tutor, my unique performance led to a promotion to head one of the departments. The position helped me interact with senior researchers as well as attending bench-marking workshops to improve the department. As a tutor, I had the opportunity to understand the different backgrounds and needs of learners. Tutoring made it clear what is required for a student to score high in their course.
As a tutor, it was my responsibility to coordinate different departments to ensure that they achieved the goals of the institution. The responsibility gave me the courage to handle complex situations and acquire leadership skills. I was tasked to coordinate the activities of different departments; this exposed me to what was required by different departments in implementing their curriculum. As a tutor and researcher, I guided students in writing their research proposals and handling complex academic matters. The responsibility I was given made me an expert in different fields. It gave me an early exposure before I embarked in academic wiring and online tutoring. I have completed many projects with a high percentage of student satisfaction.
