Hello, my name is Nkemdirim Eluwa, I'm from Abia State but lived in Imo State where the Igbo language is the predominant tongue. I also had my primary and secondary education there. I studied Sociology and had a certificate program in Igbo. I live in Abuja, Nigeria, and I've been teaching the Igbo language for the past nine years of my life.
I have written Igbo textbooks series for grades 1 to 9 classes used in Abuja schools, and I've also made an Igbo album used in teaching students proficiently in the language. I have also coordinated students for an Igbo traditional performance and taught Igbo songs to pupils and students in various schools during inter-school competitions. Teaching and watching students grow from beginner to an advanced stage is one of my utmost desires. Promoting the Igbo language amidst Igbos living in the diaspora is what drives me in teaching my mother tongue.
