MUSICAL TRAINING :
My very first Music Guru was my mother Shrimati Ira Sarkar Lahiri ( a true disciple of legendary Rabindra Sangeet singer Suchitra Mitra, Maya Sen and many more individuals)
from whom I took my initial vocal training in Rabindrasangeet and Indian Classical music, till the age of 12.

ADVANCED TRAINING :
For the past 15 years I have been training under Shri Uday Shankar Das, Pdt. Santanu Bandyopadhyay of Bishnupur Gharana and his disciple Purbachal Bera in Indian Classical Vocal music. He imparted in me the true essence of Hindustani Classical music. Pdt. Santanu Bandyopadhyay also trained me in Vocal Science.

I have also had the privilege of receiving music training from Kabir Suman for a short period of time.

I've worked with The Bong Studio (popular Social media platform) and with bangla natok.com on a general awareness programme. I've performed in a programme of news@banglaband & also a performer of Bangla Sangeet Mela and "kavipranam" programme which is organized by West Bengal Ministry of Information & Cultural Affairs.
